Cubiques 2 - It wasn't easy but my game is about to release to Apple.

Hi everyone this is a short article but is how I currently feel right now...


For those who don't know me I'm "Dilmer Valecillos" and I love to make minimalistic games on the side which means I have a day job and I do all of these work on weekends or when time permits.


Today is September 27th, 2017 and I'm about to release a new indie game. Cubiques 2 will be the 4th indie game under my Dilmer Games studio. Tomorrow September 28th, 2017 Cubiques 2 will be coming out for iOS, tvOS, and Mac and to be honest I don't know what to expect, my head is going in circles, I worked so hard on this title that all I really want is to have many people play it, if it gets featured by Apple then it would be a bonus and if it doesn't I'm still going to be excited because I did it, I was able to complete another game even when I didn't have much time. This title was all possible because I forced myself to wake up 4-5 AM most week days, stay up late, and worked on it on Sundays.


I am way excited and haven’t had any sleep for the past 2-3 months, you may or may not know how difficult is to complete a game, but if you've worked in a tech project before you know how difficult is to pull it off even when you have a larger team.


Tomorrow is the big day and regardless of the outcome I will keep going, I believe that in order to accomplish my own vision which is to "Build games that will make someone smile, build games where I could see a completely stranger playing in a random place". I to keep persisting and creating more and more beautiful and fun games.
